REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEMS

A SIMPLE, PROVEN PROCESS OF WATER PURIFICATION

A vital step in a complete water purification process, reverse osmosis or RO, removes ionic, organic and suspended impurities from water following proper conditioning of the raw water supply.

Unlike conventional filtration, reverse osmosis separates the feedwater into two streams. The feedwater flows under pressure into a semi-permeable RO membrane element called a sepralator.

The sepralator allows the purified water or permeate to pass through the membrane while rejecting the dissolved or suspended solids in a separate, concentrated stream. The purified water is then piped to your application or to a storage tank where it is ready for use.

THE EXCLUSIVE FASTEK SEPRALATOR: ENGINEERED FOR TOP FLUID SEPARATION EFFICIENCY

The spiral-wound construction of the FASTEK sepralator combines alternating layers of semi-permeable thin layer composite (TLC) membrane and open-flow channels. This provides an extremely high membrane-area-to-flow-volume ratio that ensures maximum effectiveness in fluid separation and particulate removal -- and delivers more water output per sepralator.

In addition, the sepralator's "cross flow" technology -- with both the feed and the concentrate flowing parallel to the membrane, rather than perpendicular to it, utilizes pressure as its gentle driving force for a low-heat, low-energy process.

The major components of our reverse osmosis units are produced by Osmonics, a quality manufacturer and industry leader in fluid separation technology. In fact, Osmonics is the only company that both designs and manufactures major RO components that are specifically engineered to work together as a complete unit.

Simple in design. Easy to operate. Highly reliable.

Each of our reverse osmosis units provide a steady supply of high-purity water for your process, thanks to an array of advanced features:
  • A water-saving flow control center optimizes water use efficiency with adjustable concentrate and recycle valves. Higher machine recoveries result in greater water savings and operating cost reductions.
  • Simple adjustable flow controls allow us to set up and configure your RO unit for optimum performance and provides the versatility to make easy adjustments.
  • Extremely quiet centrifugal pumps minimize noise in our large RO units -- a big advantage in installations where low noise levels are required.
  • High-quality construction featuring stainless steel sepralator housings and other durable, long-lasting components -- ensures years of dependable performance.
  • Expandable design lets you enlarge your basic unit by adding more FASTEK sepralators and, in some cases, a larger pump. You don't need to buy a whole new unit to increase your pure water production.
  • Space-saving configuration keeps all components within the supporting frame for compact, space-efficient installations, especially for larger applications.
  • Optional electrical and hydraulic upgrades can be easily added to your RO unit to enhance its performance and efficiency.
  • Unmatched product and technical support is available on every reverse osmosis unit we install -- unlike the limited service and support offered by competitive RO sellers. In addition, excellent documentation comes standard with RO units.

A PERFECT FIT FOR EVERY FLOW

With flow rates ranging from215 to 10,800 gallons per day (35 to 1,700 liters per hour), we offer a quality reverse osmosis unit to fit any high-purity water application or need.
