Skid Mounted Potable Water Pressurization Set & Filters.

Water King's skid mounted units are on welded structural steel frames. Each is pre-piped, and pre-wired to customer specification, and factory tested prior to shipping. Standard wiring is galvanized steel conduit with a local area disconnect provided. The piping is supported on the skid with the steel tanks bolted directly to skid and fiberglass tanks strapped by stainless steel to angle iron brackets. The only field installation required is some simple plumbing connections to the manifold inlet and outlet with a drain and brine connection, electrical connection, and the loading of the skid using the pad eyes of skid.

An combination of twinplex, triplex, fourplex or more are built in our factory, crated and shipped to your project site with all documentation and certification.

Water King has built skid mounted water softening units for use in the USA, Russia, Nigeria, France and other countries. Each system was custom manufactured to meet different customer specifications and water quality requirements.

Skid Mounted - Stainless Steel Pipe - Insulated and Heat traced, PLC controlled

The unit to the left is a multi-functional skid with six vessels each with a junction box, two brine vessels, and one chlorination tank. This skid is automated by Water King's PLC - Centurion™ system control. The system has heat tracing around each pipe with fiberglass insulation and stainless steel cladding to protect the wiring and piping from the extreme cold temperatures encountered in the Caspian Sea.

Skid Mounted - Remineralization Unit

The unit to the right is a remineralization unit for reverse osmosis water used on an offshore platform. Subjection seawater to distillation or reverse osmosis creates the water for offshore facilities. These processes remove virtually all of the dissolved solids from the seawater rendering it potable. The removal of dissolved solids from seawater is called desalinization. All water is corrosive. Distilled water or water produced by desalinization tends to be very aggressive because it is not properly buffered and typically has a negative Langlier Solubility Index.

The purpose of the Water King Remineralizer is to restore a balance of calcium, magnesium and bicarbonate ions to the water. This will produce water with a positive Langlier index, one suitable for distribution. The water thus created will have a slight tendency to precipitate calcium carbonate and will not have tendency to dissolve protective scales from distribution system piping.

The calcium carbonate is introduced to the water in a bed of two proprietary minerals, Corsex and Calcite. These evenly graded granular products are designed to dissolve into the water at a uniform rate producing a consistently balanced ionic mixture in the product water. The composition, mixture, and loading rates for these products are proprietary information.
