All tanks used on the FRF Series Filters are 100% non-metallic construction, seamless, molded vessels with no welds or joints.  The inner shell is constructed of polyethylene and the outside is wound with continuous fiberglass, roving to provide superior strength under pressures up to150 psi. All tanks, vessels, and the materials used in their construction have been accepted or certified by the Water Quality Association and ANSI/NSF Standard 44.  The Task Master II ^TM valve is “top mounted” on a 4” - 8UN diameter threaded opening. The polyester resin is rated to 120^oF.

The standard tanks on the MF and HF Series are 100 psi, non-code carbon steel pressure vessels.  Tanks can be either galvanized or epoxy lined and externally primed in sizes less than 48 inches.  Larger tanks are only available with epoxy liners and external primer.  Tanks meet ASNI/NSF Standard 61.  All linings are approved by AWWA for potable water. Tanks have two 4”x6” openings in sizes less than 36 inches.  Larger tanks have one     4”x6” opening and one 11” x 15” manway. ASME Code tanks are available in all sizes for steel tanks.
